NAPYPAA

NAPYPAA is “Napa Young People in AA”. NAPYPAA is for the young, and the young at heart.

Statement of Purpose

In February of 2016 Napa Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (NAPYPAA) was re-established to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to the alcoholic who is still suffering. We are a service committee who serves the young and young at heart. The disease of alcoholism and addiction has no age requirement or limit, nor do we. Our purpose is to welcome new comers and involve them in something greater than themselves. We host AA meetings and events to show the fun isn’t over once you get sober. We are also here to support the Napa fellowship and other YPAA’s, which helps strengthen unity within the group and beyond.

How Do I Get Involved?

Anyone who identifies as an A.A. member and has a desire to stop drinking can become a member. Attend two consecutive business meetings to become a member at large. Becoming a member at large gives the right to vote. Annual elections for Chair positions take place following the ACYPAA (All of California Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous) Round-Up between February and April. Members and non-members can stand for positions during elections.
